Shelter Operation

The Bell County Animal Shelter has been in operation for more than 40 years. Its mailing address is:

The shelter's hours of operation are:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM,
Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The Shelter will pick up stray dogs and receive animals from the public at the shelter. There is no charge for Bell County residents. (Although the shelter will accept cats, it will NOT pick them up.)

FROM MIDDLESBORO:
Five and a half miles north on Hwy 25E to Page Cutoff Road.

FROM PINEVILLE:
Seven and a half miles south on Hwy 25E to Page Cutoff Road.

Green signs point the way to the shelter, three-quarters of a mile on the left down Page Cutoff Road (county road #1534).
