Shelter Operation

 

The Bell County Animal Shelter has been in operation for more than 40 years. Its mailing address is:

The shelter's hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 PM, with extra hours until 6:00 PM on Thursday and from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday.. Shelter staff, however, may need to leave the shelter for periods while they pick up stray animals, so we encourage you to call before stopping by.

The shelter staff operate the shelter and deal with the visitors. They are also responsible for picking up stray animals and receiving animals from the public.

FROM MIDDLESBORO:
Five and a half miles north on Hwy 25E to Page Cutoff Road.

FROM PINEVILLE:
Seven and a half miles south on Hwy 25E to Page Cutoff Road.

Green signs point the way to the shelter, three-quarters of a mile on the left down Page Cutoff Road (county road #1534).
