Pedigree Foundation grant helps everyone sleep easier.

PEDIGREE Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to helping dogs in need find loving homes by supporting the good work of shelters and dog rescue organizations throughout the country. Through no fault of their own, more than four million dogs end up in shelters and rescue organizations every year, and nearly half of them never find a place to call home.

This winter FOS was awarded a grant for $891.00 from the Pedigree Foundation to purchase eleven aluminum Kuranda dog beds for the shelter.  Ron Presnell and Cranston Sharp assembled the beds.  With these beds and the other beds purchased with an earlier grant from Pedigree Foundation all the dogs in the runs now have dry comfortable beds to lie on. Gretchen (right) who is owned by Cranston and Debbie Sharp trying out one of the beds that Cranston assembled.
